After three overs, India had scored 22 runs without losing any wicket. Shefali Verma was batting on 18 runs in 11 balls and Smriti Mandhana scored three runs in seven balls. Shefali, who was dismissed for zero in the last match, had already hit four fours.
First blow to the Indian team
Team India got the first blow on the score of 33 in the fifth over. Nahida Akhtar clean bowled Smriti Mandhana. She could score 13 runs in 13 balls with the help of two fours. At the moment Jemima Rodrigues and Shefali Verma were at the crease. After five overs, Team India’s score was 33 for one wicket.

Team India got two wickets in two consecutive balls
In the sixth over, Team India got two setbacks in two consecutive balls. Sultana Khatoon got Shefali Verma caught by Shobhana Mostari on the first ball of the over. She could score 19 runs in 14 balls with the help of four fours. Only one half-century came out of Shefali’s bat in the last 11 innings. At the same time, on the very next ball, Sultana clean bowled captain Harmanpreet Kaur. She could not even open an account. After six overs, Team India’s score was 37 runs for three wickets. Presently Yastika Bhatia and Jemima Rodrigues were at the crease.
India Suffers Fourth Major Setback
India got their fourth blow in the ninth over at a score of 48. Fahima Khatoon gets Yastika Bhatia caught by Shorna Akhtar. Yastika could score 11 runs in 13 balls with the help of a four. India’s score was 51 for four after 10 overs. Currently Harleen Deol and Jemima Rodrigues were at the crease.
