Punjab’s first wicket fell

The first wicket of Punjab Kings fell on the score of 23 runs. Prabhsimran Singh was dismissed after scoring 23 runs in 12 balls. He hit two fours and two sixes in his innings. Tim Southee caught him at the hands of wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Southee’s ball was outside the leg stump and in an attempt to score a four, he hit the ball in the hands of the wicketkeeper. Now Bhanuka Rajapaksa was at the crease with Shikhar Dhawan.

Punjab scored 36 runs in four overs

Punjab Kings had scored 36 runs losing one wicket in four overs. After the dismissal of Prabhsimran Singh, Shikhar Dhawan took over the responsibility of scoring runs. On the other hand, Bhanuka Rajapaksa was keeping his eyes on it for the time being. After five overs, Punjab’s score was 50 runs for one wicket.

The fourth wicket of the Punjab team fell on the score of 143 runs. Captain Shikhar Dhawan was out after scoring 40 runs in 29 balls. He hit four sixes in his innings. Now Sikandar Raza and Sam Karan were at the crease. Punjab’s score was 143 for four after 15 overs.
