Gujarat Giants start batting against RCB, Harleen Deol and Beth Mooney at the crease
In the fifth match of the Women’s Premier League, Gujarat Giants face the challenge of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). On Tuesday (February 27), both the teams face each other at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
RCB captain Smriti Mandhana has won the toss and decided to bowl. RCB had defeated UP Warriors in their first match. Whereas, Gujarat Giants were defeated by Mumbai Indians.
Gujarat Giants team in trouble
Four wickets of Gujarat Giants have fallen. Veda Krishnamurthy and Harleen Deol have returned to the pavilion. Veda was out after scoring nine runs in 15 balls. He was caught by Wareham on the ball of Molineux. After that Harleen Deol was run out. He scored 22 runs on 31 balls. Gujarat suffered both the setbacks in the 11th over. Gujarat’s score is 53 runs for four wickets in 12 overs. Daylan Hemlata and Ashley Gardner are at the crease.

Gujarat Giants have scored 44 runs for two wickets in 10 overs. Harleen Deol is unbeaten on 17 runs off 27 balls. At the same time, Veda Krishnamurthy has scored nine runs on 14 balls.
RCB got second success
RCB got its second success in the seventh over. Renuka Singh Thakur got Phoebe Litchfield stumped by Richa Ghosh on the second ball. Lichfield scored five runs in 12 balls.
